Landslide in Hacıem 3 Tunnel of Trabzon Causes Traffic Disruption
A landslide in the Hacıem 3 Tunnel direction of Trabzon has resulted in the closure of the road due to falling stones. Fortunately, there were no reports of any loss of life or property in the incident.
As a precautionary measure, the road has been closed to traffic in both directions. Temporary traffic flow is being redirected from the Trabzon-Bayburt-Erzurum direction ring road tunnels. Citizens are advised to use the road tunnels of the Hacıem 3 tunnel for city transitions.
Highway and AFAD teams are currently working in the region to ensure safety and to make any necessary repairs.
Governor Aydın Baruş visited the landslide region to assess the situation and oversee the response efforts.
