GIKAD Hosts Entrepreneurship Camp
Turkish Cypriot Entrepreneurial Women Association Organizes Entrepreneurship Camp for University Students
The Turkish Cypriot Entrepreneurial Women Association (GİKAD) recently organized an Entrepreneurship Camp for university students, with a focus on empowering young female entrepreneurs in the TRNC.
The 3-day camp, which was attended by 30 female students graduating from leading universities, aimed to provide valuable guidance and information to aspiring entrepreneurs. The opening ceremony took place at the Acapulco Hotel Academia Hall and was supported by the Higher Education Planning, Supervision, Accreditation and Coordination Board (YÖDAK).
The goal of the camp was to provide participants with the necessary tools and resources to step into the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Through the guidance of experienced business professionals and lecturers, the camp sought to inspire and equip young women with the skills needed to succeed in the business world.
GİKAD is committed to supporting and nurturing future female leaders in the business world, and events like the Entrepreneurship Camp play a crucial role in achieving this mission.
The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of YÖDAK Vice President Prof. Dr. Uncle Hasan and Prof. Dr. Remziye Terkan. Prof. Dr. Uncle delivered a speech at the event, highlighting the importance of women in the workforce and the association’s dedication to empowering women in business.
The camp was a significant step towards fostering a new generation of female entrepreneurs in the TRNC, and GİKAD continues to be a champion for women’s empowerment in the business world.
