Girne and Düzce Cities Establish Sister City Partnership
A sister city protocol has been established between Kyrenia Municipality and Düzce Municipality, paving the way for collaboration in tourism, agriculture, and industry.
The signing ceremony took place at Düzce Municipality Culinary Arts Center and was attended by notable figures such as Düzce Governor Selçuk Aslan and Girne Mayor Murat Şenkul. Members of the Kyrenia Municipality Council and Foreign Relations Coordinator Fatih Akyol were also present at the event.
Following the signing ceremony, the Girne Municipality delegation paid a visit to Düzce Governor Selçuk Aslan, further solidifying the partnership between the two cities.
The goal of the signed protocol is to facilitate knowledge and experience sharing, promote cooperation, develop joint projects, and enhance cultural ties between Kyrenia and Düzce. This agreement marks a significant step towards fostering a strong and mutually beneficial relationship between the two municipalities.
