Mongolian Government Offers Scholarships for Students Studying Abroad
The Mongolian government has recently announced a new initiative to provide scholarships to students who are studying at universities in foreign countries. This decision comes with an updated set of regulations to ensure that eligible students are able to benefit from this program.
Under the new regulations, scholarships will be awarded to students who have successfully passed the general entrance examination of Mongolian schools and committees, as well as those who have achieved medals in international Olympiads. These scholarships will be available for students pursuing associate bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate programs at leading domestic schools.
Additionally, scholarships will also be awarded to students studying in professions designated in the action program of the Government of Mongolia. This includes civil servants who are pursuing advanced studies at foreign higher education institutions, as well as students in master’s and doctorate programs in key fields. Graduates of international technical education programs at domestic schools will also be eligible for these scholarships.
Furthermore, students enrolled in associate bachelor’s and bachelor’s programs at domestic institutions of higher education can receive scholarships if they are studying abroad or come from foreign countries to study in Mongolia through intergovernmental agreements. Priority will be given to students in high-demand professions where there is a shortage of skilled workers in the social sector.
The Government of Mongolia has also committed to providing support for students and teachers in master’s programs. This initiative aims to promote higher education and skill development among Mongolian students, ensuring that they have access to quality education opportunities both domestically and internationally.
