Schools in Kırşehir Closed Due to Heavy Snowfall
In a recent announcement by the Governor of Kırşehir, it has been revealed that due to the latest meteorological evaluations predicting strong snowfall in the city, all official and private educational institutions will be closed.
The statement issued by the Governor stated, “On February 13, 2025, all schools in Kırşehir, including official and private educational institutions, rehabilitation centers, Quran courses, and special education courses, will be suspended for 1 day.” Additionally, pregnant, disabled, and chronically ill personnel working in public institutions, as well as female staff in kindergarten and nursery age, will be granted administrative leave.
Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek took to his social media account to inform the public about the closure, attributing it to the heavy snowfall expected in the city on February 13, 2025. He emphasized the importance of staying safe during the snowfall and urged everyone to return to their classrooms on the following day.
