Grain Prices Set: Feed Barley at 9.76 TL, Seed Barley at 10.00 TL
The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources announces grain prices
The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources has announced that the Soil Products Institution will begin purchasing grain at set prices starting tomorrow. According to the statement released by the ministry, the prices for different types of grain have been determined as follows:
– Feed barley: 9.75 TL/kg
– Seed barley: 10.00 TL/kg
– Soft wheat: 10.00 TL/kg
– Hard wheat: 11.00 TL/kg
– Triticale: 10.00 TL/kg
The ministry has also specified the locations where each type of grain will be collected. Feed barley will be collected from various silos, seed barley from the Akdoğan Seed Preparation Facility, soft wheat from Lefkoşa and Kumyalı silos, and hard wheat from silos in Haspolat, Gazimağusa, and Lefkoşa.
It was mentioned in the statement that these prices were determined in agreement with the Turkish Cypriot Farmers Union. Farmers who wish to sell their grain at these prices can contact the designated collection points for more information.
This announcement provides clarity for farmers and helps ensure a fair and transparent process for the purchase of grains in the region.
