Gun-Wielding Suspects Arrested for Resisting Police
TD and MED React to Police During Fight at Port
According to information received, TD and MED reacted to Cide District Police Department teams who responded to a report of a fight at the Port area. One of the suspects involved in the altercation pulled out a gun and threatened the police officers.
During the ensuing scuffle, two police officers sustained minor injuries from being beaten, while the suspects were eventually apprehended and taken into custody. After processing at the police station, TD and MED were brought before a judge at the courthouse and released under judicial control conditions.
However, following objections from the public prosecutor’s office, the suspects were once again detained by Cide District Police Department teams. The incident, including the suspects resisting police and brandishing weapons, was captured on video by citizens using their mobile phones.
