Fatal Shooting in Istanbul Parking Lot Leaves One Dead and Another Injured
ISTANBUL – A shocking incident occurred on Tuesday evening in the parking lot on Halide Edip Adıvar Street, located in the Firuzköy District. Two unidentified individuals engaged in a heated argument with Murat Aydemir and Caner Şahin, both present at the scene. During the confrontation, one of the aggressors brandished a firearm and opened fire at Aydemir and Şahin, before successfully fleeing the scene.
Following the distressing event, multiple law enforcement and medical teams swiftly responded to the incident. Tragically, upon arrival, medical professionals confirmed that Murat Aydemir had succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, Caner Şahin, who sustained serious wounds, received immediate first aid from the medical teams before being rushed to the hospital via ambulance.
The news of the attack spread rapidly, prompting the relatives of Aydemir and Şahin to gather at the parking lot seeking information and solace.
