Armed Attack at Entertainment Venue in Sanayi Mahallesi, Izmit
An armed attack took place at the entertainment venue in the 41Burda Shopping Center, located on Ömer Türkçakal Boulevard in Sanayi Mahallesi. The incident occurred while musician Derya Bedavacı was performing at the venue.
According to reports, unidentified individuals carried out the attack, causing panic among the citizens in attendance. Eyewitnesses stated that they used tables and chairs as shields to protect themselves during the attack.
The attackers quickly fled the scene in a vehicle, prompting a report to be made to the 112 Emergency Call Center. In response to the call, numerous health and police teams were dispatched to the venue.
Thankfully, it was confirmed that no one was injured during the attack. Following the incident, the police conducted an inspection of the entertainment venue.
