Gunmen open fire at Avcılar nightclub, striking innocent passerby
Shots were fired at a nightclub in Avcılar, Istanbul, leading to a passerby being injured. The incident occurred after an argument broke out inside the nightclub, prompting two suspects to exit and begin shooting towards the establishment.
The unsuspecting couple walking along the road became unintended targets of the bullets, resulting in one of them, identified as Ceyhan U., sustaining injuries. The injured individual was promptly taken to the hospital by an ambulance that was summoned by the police in response to the gunshots.
Following the shooting, police managed to track down the suspects as they fled the scene. The vehicle used in the crime was intercepted in Okmeydanı, and the two suspects, identified as Ö.CE and OA, were apprehended. Currently, the detained individuals are undergoing questioning at the Avcılar Police Department Public Order Bureau.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the motive behind the shooting and the circumstances that led up to this violent incident in Avcılar.
