Güzelyurt Marks the Beginning of Social Housing with Historic Groundbreaking
National Unity Party (UBP) Chairman and Prime Minister Ünal Üsel announced that the first social housing project in Güzelyurt will be officially started on March 28.
During a recent visit to Güzelyurt, Prime Minister Üste met with the citizens at an iftar dinner and discussed the government’s efforts to address the existing problems in the region. Üsel highlighted the completion of the Güzelyurt-Lefke road, resolution of the citrus issue, and plans to increase cold storage capacity for citrus production in the coming years. Additionally, Üsel mentioned the goal of completing the Güzelyurt Hospital within the year.
Furthermore, Üsel revealed that studies for state production have been initiated, with plans to hold the first case of the Hal Law in Güzelyurt. The necessary preparations are being made for the implementation of these projects in collaboration with the Minister of Economy.
In a bid to provide positive news to the people of Güzelyurt, Üsel announced the commencement of the social housing project, which aims to provide affordable housing for young residents of the region.
