Hairdresser in Ataşehir Targeted in Armed Attack: Eyewitness Account of the Incident
A shooting incident occurred in the Yeniçamlıca District of Mithatpaşa Street at around 22:00. The target of the attack was a 17-year-old boy identified as BS, who was waiting in a hairdresser to get a shave. He was allegedly attacked by a man on a motorcycle who fired bullets at him, injuring his leg.
Upon receiving a notification, medical and police teams rushed to the scene. First aid was provided to the injured BS by medical teams before he was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The police, on the other hand, took security measures and initiated an investigation of the crime scene. Efforts are ongoing to capture the suspect responsible for the attack.
Eyewitness Güngör Tığ, who arrived at the scene after hearing the gunshots, reported that it was young people who shot at each other. He mentioned that one of them was injured and described the assailant as a young man who also sustained an injury to his leg.
In another development, the moments of the shooting were captured on a security camera inside the hairdresser. The footage showed the suspect on a motorcycle passing by the hairdresser several times before the incident, as if checking the place. He ultimately pointed his gun and fired at the hairdresser before fleeing the scene. The video also depicted the injured BS being loaded into the ambulance.
The police investigation continues, aiming to bring the perpetrator to justice. The incident has left the local community shocked and concerned about the safety of the neighborhood. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the apprehension of the suspect and ensure the safety of the community.
