Hamas to Exchange Captives with Israel on February 20 and 22
Hamas’s military wing, Izzeddin al-Kassam Brigades, announced that they will be exchanging captives with Israel on February 20 and 22. The spokesperson, Abu Ubeyde, stated that three Israeli captives, including Oded Lifshitz and the Bibas family members, will be delivered on February 20.
Abu Ubeyde also highlighted that four individuals, who had died in Israeli bombardments, will be part of the exchange. He mentioned that they were alive before the deliberate bombings by Israeli occupation planes.
Furthermore, Hamas revealed that Palestinian prisoners will be released on February 22 as part of the ceasefire and captive exchange agreement. The statement mentioned that six Israelis, including Hişam al-Seyyid and Avira Mengistu, will be released on this day.
According to reports, on February 22, Hamas will deliver Tal Shoham, Omer Shem-Tov, Eliya Cohen, Omer Wenkert, Avera Mengistu, and Hisham Al-Sayed to Israel. Additionally, there are 33 individuals on the list for the first stage of the ceasefire agreement, with Israeli prisoners Shlomo Mantzur, Ohad Yahalomi, and Tsahi Idan expected to be released in the coming week.
