He mentioned conducting inspections of the area alongside key figures such as the Mayor of Nicosia Turkish Municipality Mehmet Harmancı, the President of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce Turgay Deniz, and the President of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Industry Ali Kamacıoğlu.

In addressing the growing energy needs, President Tatar stressed the importance of utilizing renewable energy technologies, specifically solar energy. He commended the work of electrical engineers in advancing renewable energy and solar power initiatives, underscoring their crucial role in the country’s development.

President Tatar also proposed solutions to address Cyprus’ energy challenges, including importing electricity from Turkey through cables and integrating the Greek side into the European Interconnected System via Turkey.
