Minister of Health Receives Positive Feedback for Pediatric Emergency Service
The Minister of Health, Monitoring Gürçağ Altuğra, has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the citizens for the Pediatric Emergency Service that was opened in November 2022. Since taking office, the Minister and his team have been working tirelessly to ensure that the children of the country receive the best possible healthcare services, and the results are showing.
During a visit to the Children’s Polyclinic, Minister Altuğra had the opportunity to meet with the children who are currently receiving treatment. He also participated in a motivation event that was specifically organized for the children. The Minister expressed his happiness in being able to implement the Pediatric Emergency Service in the territory, bringing it in line with contemporary healthcare practices around the world. He emphasized that a team of highly skilled doctors is dedicated to providing care for the children.
Families have expressed their satisfaction with the healthcare services provided to their children, and Minister Altuğra took the opportunity to thank and congratulate all the doctors and nurses working in the intensive care, newborn service, and pediatric emergency service. He acknowledged the Chief Physician, the head nurse, and the Chief of the Child Service Clinic for their outstanding work in ensuring the well-being of the children. Minister Altuğra reaffirmed his commitment to continue working towards the goal of bringing smiles to the faces of all children.
In the Pediatric Emergency Department, Minister Altuğra expressed his gratitude to all the specialists who are part of the team. These include pediatricians, pediatric infection specialists, newborn specialists, pediatric surgery specialists, pediatric intensive care specialists, developmental pediatricians, pediatric gastroenterologists, pediatric endocrinologists, pediatric cardiologists, pediatric immunologists, and pediatric allergy disease specialists. He also noted the presence of pediatric neurology specialists who contribute to the department.
With the Pediatric Emergency Service in place, children in the TRNC can now receive specialized healthcare in emergency situations. The dedication of the healthcare professionals has been recognized by the community, and Minister Altuğra is proud of the accomplishments achieved so far. The Ministry of Health will continue to prioritize the well-being of the children and ensure that they receive the best possible medical care.
