
Health Minister Dinçyürek Announces Upcoming Renovations at BRT Headquarters

Health Minister Hakan Dinçyürek recently discussed the advancements made in healthcare facilities in Northern Cyprus during the “This Place Important” program. Emphasizing the importance of health for a quality life, Dinçyürek highlighted the efforts being made to enhance healthcare services across the region.
The new Nicosia State Hospital was a major focus of the discussions, with Dinçyürek emphasizing the need for hospitals with a qualified bed capacity, modern facilities, and high hygiene standards. The upcoming Kyrenia Hospital, set to begin operations in 2025, will help relieve the burden on Nicosia Hospital. Additionally, plans are in place for the construction of a hospital in Karpaz and Pamuklu.
Dinçyürek also mentioned that health centers in Maraş, Mill, Lapta, Dikmen, and Gönyeli are nearing completion, with Güzelyurt Hospital scheduled to start accepting patients on November 15. The construction of the new Nicosia Hospital is expected to commence this summer, further boosting healthcare services in the region.
These developments are part of a wider effort to enhance healthcare infrastructure and provide quality medical care to residents of Northern Cyprus. Minister Dinçyürek’s focus on improving facilities and services demonstrates a commitment to ensuring the well-being of the population.
