Hezbollah Commander Ibrahim Akil Killed in Israeli Attack
Lebanon’s Health Ministry has reported a tragic incident in which 14 people, including children and women, were killed in an airstrike carried out by the Israeli army south of the capital city Beirut. The ministry also stated that 66 individuals were injured in the attack, with 9 of them being in critical condition. Efforts to clear the debris from the destroyed buildings are currently ongoing.
Hezbollah has confirmed the death of one of its senior commanders, Ibrahim Akil, in the Israeli attack on Beirut. This comes as part of a series of ongoing clashes between the two sides along the Israel-Lebanon border since October 8, 2023.
