Hezbollah Launches Attacks on Israeli Army Headquarters
Hezbollah recently made a statement announcing an attack on the 91st Division headquarters of the Israeli army in Ayelet Hashahar, northeast of Safed. The attack was carried out using an air fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), targeting the areas where soldiers in the company were deployed. As a result, there were casualties and injuries among the Israeli army personnel.
The statement from Hezbollah emphasized that the attack was in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and was a response to Israel’s assassination in the town of Hayara in eastern Lebanon. In response, the Israeli army reported that a UAV entering the Misgav region in Lower Galilee from Lebanon was intercepted.
The region in question is known to have military facilities and a security factory. Additionally, rockets and missiles were fired into the Dishon region in northern Israel, causing a fire to break out due to shrapnel falling during the interception of the missiles. Israeli fire brigade and search and rescue teams are currently working to contain the fire.
Furthermore, Hezbollah also claimed responsibility for another attack on the headquarters of the Sehel battalion in the Beit Hilal barracks using a UAV. This attack resulted in more casualties and injuries among the Israeli army personnel.
The tension in the region remains high following these series of attacks and counterattacks between Hezbollah and the Israeli army. The situation is being closely monitored by authorities as efforts to de-escalate the situation continue.
