EU Leaders Express Willingness for Resumption of Cyprus Negotiations and Evaluation of Relations with Turkey
European Union (EU) leaders have shown their willingness to resume negotiations on the Cyprus problem and have called for an evaluation of relations with Turkey based on the results of the recent Presidential election. These matters were discussed under the topic of “foreign relations” in the EU leaders’ meeting.

They also expressed their intention to strengthen relations with Turkey in terms of migration management and to conduct technical studies for updating the Customs Union.
