Fire Breaks Out on Passenger Bus Traveling from Hatay to Istanbul
A passenger bus traveling from Hatay to Istanbul experienced a fire incident while moving through the Sarıçökek area. The fire reportedly originated from the motor section of the bus.
Upon noticing the flames, the bus driver quickly acted by maneuvering the vehicle to the right lane and safely evacuating all passengers. Firefighters promptly responded to the situation and successfully extinguished the blaze.
Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported from the fire, but the bus has been rendered unusable due to the damage. Traffic in the direction of Istanbul was temporarily halted but has since resumed, albeit through a single lane.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that passengers will be provided with another bus to continue their journey to Istanbul.
