Honoring Excellence: BRTK’s Culture and Art Award Life Service Recipient
The Deputy Prime Minister, Tourism, Culture, Youth, and the Ministry of Culture Department of the Fourth Culture and Art Service held an award ceremony at the İsmet Vehit Güney Art Center to honor the recipients of the “Service Award.” President Ersin Tatar, along with other dignitaries and art lovers, attended the ceremony.
President Tatar emphasized the importance of culture and art in the identity of the Turkish Cypriot people, stating that these values play a significant role in the country’s international presence. The Director of the Culture Department, Şirin Zaimağaoğlu, commended the efforts of the department in promoting culture and art. He emphasized the importance of engaging with artists and supporting artistic production from a young age.
An exhibition curated by Fine Arts Officer Bedia Kale was also featured at the event, showcasing the works of talented artists. The exhibition will be open to the public until April 17, offering art enthusiasts the opportunity to appreciate the creativity and talent of the featured artists.
