Horror in Antalya: Man mercilessly murders girlfriend and son
A gruesome incident unfolded in the Duacı Neighborhood of Döşemealtı district in the morning hours, leaving a community in shock and disbelief. Lovers Aynur Çilli and Mehmet Altın, along with Çilli’s two sons, had been living together in a house in the Doğuyaka Neighborhood of Muratpaşa district for the past 1.5 years. However, today’s outing to the forest area in Duacı Neighborhood took a horrifying turn when an argument between the couple escalated into a violent frenzy.
Mehmet Altın, for reasons unknown, began assaulting Aynur Çilli with a stone, ultimately taking her life by brutally crushing her head with the same stone. The chilling scene unfolded in front of Aynur’s son, Bulutcan Çilli, who could only watch in horror as his mother was mercilessly killed. Not stopping there, Altın proceeded to strangle little Bulutcan to death, tying up his hands, feet, and neck with a rope before leaving the house.
The discovery of Aynur Çilli’s lifeless body in the forest prompted a response from authorities, with gendarmerie teams swiftly arriving on the scene. Through their investigation, Altın was apprehended, and a search of his residence led to the grim discovery of Umutcan Çilli’s body, confirming the heinous acts that had taken place.
In a chilling confession, Mehmet Altın admitted to the murders, citing the boy’s witnessing of his mother’s death as the reason behind his actions. It was revealed that Altın had a criminal record encompassing 17 offenses and had been married five times, while Aynur Çilli had a history of 20 crimes.
As the bodies of the victims were taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue and Altın was detained by authorities, the community grapples with the harrowing reality of this senseless tragedy. The shocking incident serves as a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the devastating consequences of unchecked violence.
