Houthis Launch Ballistic Missile Strike on Military Target in Tel Aviv

The military spokesperson Yahya Series provided information about recent missile attacks in a video statement broadcast on television. According to Series, a hypersonic ballistic missile of the ‘Palestine-2’ type targeted a military target in the occupied Palestine’s Yafa region, successfully carrying out the operation.
This marks the second operation within 24 hours, with the Houthis continuing their attacks on Yemen in response to the support operations of Gaza. The series emphasized that these operations will persist, including navigation trials against Israeli ships, until the attacks on Gaza cease and the blockade is lifted.
In a previous statement, the Houthis mentioned targeting a US aircraft carrier in Tel Aviv’s International Airport and a US aircraft in the Red Sea. The group also threatened to resume maritime operations against Israel if aid for Gaza is not allowed to enter within a four-day period.
Following these events, US President Donald Trump declared on March 15 his instructions to launch a “great attack” against the Houthis in Yemen. In response, the Houthis leader Abdulmelik al-Husi warned that US aircraft and warships would be targeted, leading to possible disruptions in sea flights to Washington.
The Houthis reported casualties from the recent airstrikes organized by the United States and Britain, with at least 53 people killed and 107 injured in the capital city of Sana’a. The situation remains tense as military operations between the different parties continue to escalate.
