Young Hungarian career starters are increasing their salary expectations as they look for entry-level positions, with the average net monthly salary now standing at HUF 383,000, up from HUF 308,000 last year. This information comes from recruiting site Profession.hu, as reported by MTI.
According to Profession.hu, graduates from business and technical universities have even higher expectations, averaging around HUF 400,000. For those with at least ten years of experience in these fields, the salary expectations range from HUF 675,000 to HUF 700,000 per month.
Profession.hu has a database of 265,000 graduates, with a majority having studied at institutions such as the Budapest University of Economics and Business, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, University of Debrecen, Eötvös Loránd University, and University of Szeged.
