Hungarian Michelin-Recommended Restaurants Participate in Restaurant Week
This year, the highly anticipated Restaurant Week is back, featuring ten restaurants with a Michelin recommendation. The event will take place across the country from October 10 to 27, offering food enthusiasts the opportunity to indulge in exquisite degustation menus.
In addition to the Michelin-recommended establishments, over 180 restaurants, including some of Hungary’s Top100 gastronomy venues, will participate in the Restaurant Week. Guests can enjoy three-course menus at a fixed price, with no increase from last year’s rates.
The menus showcase a variety of dishes prepared with prime-quality ingredients. Prices range from 5,990 forints for standard dishes to 9,900 forints for luxury plates, which includes a service charge.
This year’s participating restaurants will introduce rare specialties such as rooster goulash, pheasant essence, lamb consomme with lamb ravioli, pig’s ear in breadcrumbs, Angus rib-eye steak from the Hortobagy region, and Wagyu beef. Other highlights include roe deer carpaccio, venison tenderloin, BBQ salmon, and St. Jacob’s scallops. To end the meal on a sweet note, diners can enjoy desserts like tiramisu with poppy seeds and chocolate with truffles.
Reservations for the Restaurant Week can be made online. Don’t miss this opportunity to savor the best that Hungarian cuisine has to offer.
