Hungarian MOL secures Druzhba crude deliveries with agreements

Hungarian oil and gas company MOL has announced a new agreement that will ensure the continuous transport of crude through the Druzhba pipeline. This pipeline, which runs through Belarus and Ukraine to Hungary and Slovakia, is a crucial route for transporting crude oil.
MOL Group has signed agreements with crude suppliers and pipeline operators that will allow them to take over ownership of the affected volumes of crude at the Belarus-Ukraine border starting from September 9. These updated transportation agreements and takeover arrangements are in full compliance with all relevant sanctions and provisions, including those of the European Union and Ukraine.
Gabriel Szabó, MOL Group‘s downstream VP, expressed that this new arrangement provides a sustainable solution for crude transport through the Druzhba pipeline. This development is expected to enhance the security of supply in Hungary and Slovakia.
With this new agreement in place, MOL is confident in its ability to ensure the smooth and continuous transportation of crude oil through the Druzhba pipeline, benefiting both the company and the countries it serves.
