Hungarian Motocross Champion in Critical Condition after Accident
Hungarian ten-time motocross champion, Bence Szvoboda, has suffered a serious injury during a championship in the Czech Republic. Although some social media posts have falsely reported his death, Szvoboda is still alive but in a critical condition. After a blow to the head, the rider lost consciousness on the track and underwent life-saving surgery in a Prague hospital. Reports indicate that Szvoboda’s brain functions are not currently working, and there is no chance for him to survive. Szvoboda was in third place when he fell and was subsequently run over by several riders following him. The Hungarian rider scored points in the World Championship in 2011 as the first Hungarian to do so in motocross. At present, the accident’s cause remains unclear, but Szvoboda’s family and the HTS Team have asked for no news of his death and condolences to circulate online prematurely.
