Hungary to Hold Multinational Military Exercise “Adaptive Hussars 23” with NATO Forces
The Hungarian Armed Forces are set to conduct a multinational military exercise called “Adaptive Hussars 23” across the entire territory of Hungary from November 2 to November 26, as announced by the country’s defense minister on Thursday.
The primary objective of the exercise is to test Hungary’s defense capabilities and enhance collaboration with public administration. The defense ministry quoted Kristof Szalay-Bobrovniczky, the defense minister, who emphasized the importance of such exercises during a period when Europe faces threats arising from illegal migration and terrorism.
During the exercise, an increased presence of military vehicles on public roads is expected. The ministry has urged Hungarian citizens to exercise caution while driving and extended gratitude for their patience and understanding.
It should be noted that civilian vehicles will not be allowed to enter military convoys. Accompanying vehicles will be deployed to ensure the smooth movement of the convoys. Hungary’s Defence Ministry has committed to providing regular updates on the progress of the exercise, as reported by vezes.hu.
