
Hungary Welcomes Summer with Temperatures Soaring to 30°C

After a rainy Tuesday, Hungary is officially transitioning into summer, with temperatures reaching as high as 25°C by midday. According to the Weather Forecast of Time, the country can expect ample sunshine today, with no precipitation in sight. Winds will be brisk in north-western areas, with afternoon temperatures ranging between 23 and 28 degrees Celsius.
Thursday will bring more sunshine, with showers expected only in the morning and late afternoon. Daytime highs are expected to be between 24 and 30°C, with the eastern region of Tiszántúl set to be the warmest. The warm weather is set to persist in Hungary over the coming days.
A Mediterranean cyclone is forecast to move into Hungary on Friday, bringing rainfall mainly to the eastern parts of the country. Showers are expected to be infrequent in the afternoon, with southerly winds strengthening. Maximum temperatures will range between 17 and 23 degrees Celsius.
The weekend will continue to be breezy, with sunny spells and occasional light showers. Saturday’s highs will be between 18 and 23 degrees, while Sunday may see temperatures rise to between 20 and 25°C.
Additionally, Hungary will have the opportunity to witness the annual Lyrids meteor shower from 17 to 26 April, with the peak expected during this period. So, make sure to look up at the sky and enjoy this natural spectacle.
