Increase in Trustee Parking Fees in Istanbul

The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) has made significant changes to the parking and towing fees for vehicles kept in trustee car parks. The decision was made during a Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) meeting chaired by IMM Deputy Secretary General Gürkan Akgün at Çırpıcı Social Facilities.

During the meeting, a proposal from the General Directorate of the Turkish Police Force Strengthening Foundation and the Istanbul Police Services Development and Support Association was evaluated. It was decided to increase the parking and towing fees for trustees by 39.65 to 50 percent.

As a result, the vehicle towing fee has increased from 870 lira to 1215 lira, the private transportation fee for distances up to 5 kilometers has increased from 870 lira to 1215 lira, and the additional kilometer fee has increased from 30 lira to 45 lira.

Additionally, the trustee parking daily fee tariff has seen increases for different types of vehicles. For motorcycles, the fee has increased from 45 lira to 65 lira, for automobiles from 85 lira to 120 lira, for pickup trucks, off-road vehicles, and minibuses from 110 lira to 155 lira, for trucks and buses from 165 lira to 230 lira, and for work machines from 215 lira to 300 lira.

These changes aim to better regulate parking and towing services in Istanbul and ensure fair fees for vehicle owners using trustee car parks. It is important for residents and visitors to be aware of these adjustments to avoid any inconveniences or surprises when using these services in the city.
