According to Pénzcentrum, beach ticket prices at Lake Balaton have seen an overall increase. However, the extent of this price hike varies significantly across different locations. While some beaches have raised prices by a few hundred forints, others have increased their fees by around 50 percent compared to last year. In Balatonvilágos, daily tickets for adults at the Municipal Paying Beach on Zrínyi Avenue are now priced at HUF 1,200 (EUR 3.01), marking a 50 percent increase from the previous year. Residents can enjoy the beach for free with proof of address and photo ID, and there is also a municipal beach that remains free of charge.

Moving on to Balatonfüred, Esterházy Strand and Kisfaludy Strand have both seen increases in entrance fees, with Esterházy Strand now priced at HUF 2,100 (EUR 5.27) and Kisfaludy Strand at HUF 2,200 (EUR 5.50). Both beaches have undergone renovations and improvements for the new season.

In Szántód, beach fees have remained unchanged for 2024, with adults paying HUF 1,500 (EUR 3.77) and children HUF 500 (EUR 1.26). Residents can use the beach for free, and holiday homeowners have the option to purchase discounted seasonal tickets.

In Balatonszárszó, entrance fees for the central beach have not increased, remaining at HUF 1,300 (EUR 3.26) for adults. Balatonszárszó also offers two free beaches for visitors to enjoy.

Balatonszemes continues to offer free entrance to all three of its beaches, focusing on modernization and improvements to enhance the visitor experience. In Siófok, entrance fees remain the same, with adults paying HUF 2,500 (EUR 6.28) during the season.

In Gyenesdiás, adult admission prices have increased by HUF 200 (EUR 0.50) compared to 2023, with different rates for weekdays and weekends. Finally, in Fonyód, entrance fees have remained unchanged, offering affordable options for visitors to enjoy the beach.
