
Indictment Ready for 62 Suspects in Sarallar Crime Organization Case

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has prepared an indictment for 62 suspects involved in the Sarallar Crime Organization. The organization, allegedly led by Turan Yildirim, was involved in various criminal activities including kidnapping abroad. The suspects, some of whom were public officials, were accused of obstructing justice, concealing evidence, and engaging in illegal activities to prevent the organization from being deciphered.
Among the suspects, Kenan Koçak faces charges of human trafficking and involvement in organized crime, with a requested imprisonment ranging from 13 years 9 months to 29 years. Turan Yildirim, who is also subject to a red bulletin, faces a potential sentence of 30 to 60 years for various charges including robbery and deprivation of freedom. The remaining 59 suspects are also facing charges related to organized crime activities.
The indictment has been sent to the High Criminal Court for further evaluation. The case sheds light on the extent of criminal activities carried out by the Sarallar Crime Organization and the involvement of public officials in these illegal operations. The legal proceedings will hopefully bring justice to the victims and hold the suspects accountable for their actions.
