Erzincan Police Detains Individual for Terrorist Propaganda on Social Media
In a recent statement released by the Erzincan Governorship, it was announced that a successful operation was conducted by the teams of the Provincial Police Department’s Anti-Terrorism (TEM) Branch Directorate against individuals spreading terrorist propaganda on social media platforms. Under the coordination of the Erzincan Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, the operation led to the detainment of Ç.Ö, who was identified as promoting the DHKP/C terrorist organization.
The teams, actively conducting virtual patrols, managed to locate and detain Ç.Ö during the operation. Following the necessary procedures at the police station, Ç.Ö was promptly transferred to the courthouse where he faced charges for promoting terrorist propaganda. Subsequently, the court ruled to arrest Ç.Ö, sending a strong message against those involved in such illegal activities.
