Inter-Vocational High School Knowledge and Skills Competition in Beauty and Hair Care Services Field Held at CIU
The Inter-Vocational High School Knowledge and Skills Competition in the Beauty and Hair Care Services field took place today in collaboration with Cyprus International University (CIU). The competition was held at the Çevik Uraz Center Conference Hall and was inaugurated by the Minister of National Education, Nazım Çavuşoğlu, and CIU Rector, Prof. Dr. Halil Nadiri.
During his opening speech, Minister Nazım Çavuşoğlu expressed his excitement for the event, referring to it as a festival where students could showcase their talents. He emphasized the importance of vocational education and the need for trained professionals in various fields. Minister Çavuşoğlu also revealed plans to open the Rauf Raif Denktaş Vocational High School in the upcoming academic year and to transform the Geçitkale Cumhuriyet High School into an automotive vocational high school.
In concluding his remarks, Minister Çavuşoğlu reiterated the government’s commitment to investing in vocational education. He extended his gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the competition and wished good luck to all participating students.
The competition not only provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their skills but also highlighted the significance of vocational education in preparing the workforce for the future.
