Gunfire Erupts in Turkey’s Bahçeşehir 1. Kısım Mahallesi
A troubling incident occurred in the evening hours in Bahçeşehir 1. Kısım Mahallesi, Ispartakule, Turkey. An unnamed individual got into a situation that caused him to shout, “The Bully Is Here,” in the middle of the street, holding a shotgun. He then made threats and proceeded to fire it into the air.
Two bystanders intervened by pulling out their own gun and tried to get the shotgun from the individual. However, as one of them got closer to the weapon, it exploded. Fortunately, no one was hurt during the ordeal, and two citizens ultimately gained possession of the shotgun.
The whole incident was recorded by a citizen’s mobile phone, and the police were called to handle the situation. It is still unclear what led up to the incident and why the individual was in possession of a firearm.
