Tehran Airport Director Denies Rumors of Flight Safety Warning for Western Iran
Tehran Imam Khomeini Airport Director General, Said Chalenderi, has refuted rumors circulating about a flight safety warning being issued for western Iran by the Civil Aviation Organization. Chalenderi stated that there is no such warning in place.
Recent reports in the press had suggested that a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) would be issued to airlines operating in Iran, particularly for flights in the western region of the country. However, Chalenderi has clarified that these rumors are unfounded.
This clarification comes as a relief to both passengers and airlines, reassuring them that there are no imminent safety concerns for flights in western Iran.
