Iranian Leader Khamenei Condemns Israel’s Attacks in Lebanon
Iranian leader Ayatollah Khamenei has issued a written statement expressing his strong condemnation of Israel’s recent attacks in Lebanon. Khamenei accused Israel of attempting to replicate the war crimes it has been committing in Gaza in Lebanon, stating that the Zionist criminals are trying to cause damage to Hezbollah’s powerful structure in the country.
“The Zionist criminals should know that they are too small to seriously harm Hezbollah in Lebanon,” Khamenei declared in his statement. He emphasized that the resistance forces in the region will stand in solidarity with Hezbollah, asserting that the struggle of the resistance forces will persevere under the leadership of Hezbollah.
Notably, Khamenei did not mention Hezbollah Secretary General Hasan Nasrallah in his statement. Nasrallah was rumored to be among those who lost their lives in Israel’s attack in Beirut, though his fate remains unconfirmed.
The escalating tensions in the region have led to heightened concern over the potential for further violence.
