Iranian Fishing Vessel Seized Off the Coast of Socotra
Military and security units off the coast of Abd al-Kuri, the second largest island of Socotra, have seized an Iranian fishing vessel that was caught illegally in Yemeni waters. The announcement was made during a security committee meeting chaired by Socotra Governor Rafet al-Sukli. The governor has instructed the relevant security units to establish a joint committee to inspect the ship, investigate the crew, and prepare a comprehensive report on the incident.
