Iran’s Response to Israeli Aggression: Seeking Peace, Ready for War
Iranian Deputy Speaker Amir Hossein Pezeshkian emphasized Iran’s commitment to defending its nation and country against aggression in a recent cabinet meeting in Tehran. He specifically addressed Israel’s recent attack on Iran, stating that while they are not seeking war, they will respond appropriately to any aggression from the Zionist regime.
Pezeşkiyan also called out the United States for supporting Israel’s actions in the region, warning that continued aggression from Israel could escalate tensions further. He expressed disappointment in Western leaders who had promised to stop Israel’s attacks in Gaza but failed to follow through.
Meanwhile, Israel claimed to have successfully carried out an attack on military targets in Iran as retaliation for previous missile attacks. Iran reported that their air defense systems were able to resist the attacks, but there was some limited damage and casualties, including 4 soldiers and 1 civilian.
