#Isiasortakdavamiz Hasipoglu: Promising not to forget, prevent and stay vigilant – BRTK
The “Speak for Justice” event organized by the Champion Angels Keeping Alive Association took place in Famagusta Namık Kemal Square.
During the event, UBP Deputy Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu, Chairman of the Parliamentary Earthquake Committee, addressed the attendees. He emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the illegal practices in construction projects and the need for stricter punishment for those involved in such activities.
Hasipoğlu stated, “We want this case to be a precedent case, both for our Champion Angels and for Türkiye. We want contractors who engage in unethical practices to face the heaviest punishment. We will not rest until justice is served. This event marks the beginning of a fight against corruption in the construction industry.”
The disaster that occurred was described as the disaster of the century, but the goal is to make this case the case of the century by holding those responsible accountable. Hasipoğlu expressed his full support for the families affected by the tragedy and the Champion Angels Keeping Alive Association.
