Iskele Hosts Poetry and Song Night
The İskele Municipality recently hosted the 14th Culture & Art Days, featuring a love-themed poetry and song night that took place yesterday. According to the municipality’s announcement, the event was organized in collaboration with the Aegean Theaters Association, with Metin Güler, the General Art Director of the theater Office, taking the stage. The Iskele Municipality theater was directed by Group Detail and Sami Yakar.
During the night, the İskele Municipal Theater team members Mehmet Kulçer, Bilen, Murat Sirhan, Bilal Dericioğlu, Muhterem Hocaoğulları, Mehmet Burkay Uzun, and Sinem Kaşifoğlu recited poetry, while the President of the Aegean Theaters Association General Art Director Metin Güler and Yeliz Mihriban Reishan also participated.
In another exciting event, writers Mehmet Gündoğan, Levent Kızıçay, Aysan Özcezarlı, and Fulya Adalıer engaged with young people in İskele Akm, thanks to the contributions of the Culture Department. After a fruitful meeting lasting about an hour, the authors signed books for the young attendees. Özlem Kadirağa, the Iskele Municipality Culture & Art and Foreign Relations Consultant, presented the authors with a plaque of appreciation following the event.
