Iskele Municipality kicks off the 14th Culture Days event
The 14th Culture and Art Days have officially kicked off in İskele, organized by İskele Municipality. The event began with a ceremony at İskele Municipality Culture House, where Mayor Hasan Sadıkoğlu expressed his excitement for bringing together culture and art in the community.
Sadıkoğlu announced that the Culture and Art Days will run for a month in İskele, catering to individuals of all ages. The event promises to offer a rich program filled with cultural and artistic activities that will appeal to everyone.
During the opening ceremony, the İskele Municipality Folk Dance Team showcased an authentic performance, captivating the audience. Following this, Mine Emiroğlu from the Tourism Promotion and Planning Department delivered a speech on behalf of Minister of Tourism Culture Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu. Emiroğlu emphasized the efforts to enhance tourism in the region through collaborations with travel and tourism agencies.
Additionally, awards were given to participants who excelled in a photography contest highlighting the beauty and history of İskele. As part of the event, renowned poet, writer, and theater actor Sunay Akın İskele engaged with the audience at the Atatürk Cultural Center, adding another dimension to the cultural and artistic celebration.
