Israel bans images of slain Palestinian children at demonstrations in Gaza

NGO Stands Against Israeli Police Warning on Gaza Children
The NGO “Standing Together,” founded by Israeli and Arab activists, has received a warning from the Israeli police against displaying photos of children killed in Gaza during demonstrations. The police in Tel Aviv stated that the anti-war protest last Thursday, which condemned the Air Force bombardment of Palestinian children in Gaza, was not allowed to feature images of Israeli police.
Furthermore, the police warned that banners and signs with the word “genocide” would also be prohibited. However, following public pressure, the police backed down from their stance. “Silence will not silence us,” stated the NGO in response to the police warning.
Alon Lee Green, one of the NGO’s executives, questioned the Israeli police’s attempt to hide the truth about what occurred in Gaza. Despite the warning, Green affirmed that they would continue to display banners with photos of Palestinian children who perished in Israeli attacks and would persist in their fight against war.
The NGO has launched a campaign to cover advertising boards throughout the Gush Dan region, including Tel Aviv and its neighboring cities, with images of Palestinian children killed in Israeli assaults on Gaza. This action underscores their commitment to raising awareness about the impact of the conflict on innocent lives and advocating for peace.
