Israel Claims Responsibility for Assassination of Haniye: Defense Minister Katz Speaks

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has issued a strong warning to the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen who continue to launch attacks against Israel. Katz claimed that Israel has successfully defeated Hamas, Hezbollah, and neutralized Iran’s defense systems, and now they are ready to deal a significant blow to the Houthis.
“We will strike the terrorist Houthis in Yemen with force. We will leave their leaders without heads, just like we did to Ismail Haniye, Yahya Sinvar, and Hasan Nasrallah,” Katz stated. He further warned, “Anyone who dares to harm our country will face severe consequences. The Israeli army is ready for unparalleled retaliation.”
Katz’s bold statements mark the first time Israel has taken responsibility for the assassination of Ismail Haniye, who was reportedly killed in an attack on his residence in Tehran after attending a ceremony with Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian.
As tensions escalate in the region, Israel’s determination to protect its citizens and respond to threats is evident. With Katz’s firm stance, it is clear that Israel is prepared to defend itself against any aggression directed towards its borders.
