Israel Strikes Multiple Targets in Beirut During Conflict with Hezbollah

The Israeli army has recently turned its attention back to the north of Gaza, with forces from the 162nd Division launching a ground attack on the Cibaliya Refugee Camp. Israel claims that Hamas has a presence in the region, and has surrounded the area while conducting attacks with support from the air force.
A new exile map for the north of the Gaza Strip and Gaza city has been published by the Israeli Army Spokesperson’s Office. This map marks areas in larger clusters, dividing them into smaller blocks. The Israeli army has labeled the north of Gaza as a “battlefield” against Hamas, with plans to attack areas west of Beit Hanun and expand the designated “humanitarian zone” in the south of Gaza. Additionally, Saladin Road and Rashid Street in the Al-Mavasi area have been reopened as evacuation routes.
Israeli politicians have called for the declaration of a ‘military zone’ in the north of the Gaza Strip, free of civilians. This move comes amidst discussions within the international community about Israel’s expanding violence and aggression, including attacks on Lebanon and potential responses to Iran.
As tensions escalate in the region, it remains to be seen how the situation in the north of Gaza will continue to unfold.
