Israel Under Siege: Double Missile Attack from Two Nations
The missile attacks from Hezbollah on Israel show no signs of slowing down, causing fear and chaos among the Israeli population.
Hezbollah recently announced that they targeted the Stella Maris naval base near Haifa with special missiles, along with bombarding a military base in Netanya and Kiryat Shmona. Additionally, they reported blowing up three Merkava tanks in Ayta Al Shaab town, resulting in the death of soldiers inside.
On Sunday evening, Hezbollah dealt a fatal blow to the Israeli army with a kamikaze-armed unmanned aerial vehicle, resulting in the death of four soldiers and dozens injured. The attack raised concerns about the effectiveness of Israel’s air defense systems against UAVs.
The continuous attacks have led to a state of panic among Israelis, with nearly 2 million rushing to shelters after sirens blared in and around Tel Aviv. Reports indicate that some missiles fired by Hezbollah managed to evade air defense systems, causing shrapnel to fall in many places.
Despite losing many senior leaders, Hezbollah continues to respond to Israeli air strikes with missile attacks and kamikaze drones. The group is estimated to have tens of thousands of members and a large arsenal of missiles.
The ongoing conflict between Hezbollah and Israel has resulted in casualties and destruction, with no clear end in sight.
