Israeli Warplanes Carry Out Airstrikes in Southern Lebanon
According to reports from the Lebanese official agency NNA, Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes on the towns of Marun al-Ras and Shihin. The attacks resulted in casualties and damage in the area.
One of the missiles launched towards Marun al-Ras did not explode, causing fear and uncertainty among the residents. Additionally, a missile launched from an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle fell in the town of Ayta al-Shaab, although details about the number of casualties were not immediately available.
Tragically, one person lost their life when Israeli forces targeted a vehicle with a UAV in the town of Kunin, located in the southern Lebanese border region. Several people in the vehicle were injured, with one person in critical condition. Ambulances were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide medical assistance.
Further reports indicated that Israeli drones also attacked a motorcycle on the road to the town of Kfar Ruman. In this incident, a 25-year-old Syrian national named Muhammed Khalaf lost his life, while one Syrian and one Lebanese civilian sustained injuries.
The airstrikes and attacks have sparked concerns among the local population and raised tensions in the region.
