Israeli Army Detains Child During Occupation
Israeli Soldiers Continue Raids and Attacks in West Bank Cities
Israeli soldiers have reportedly conducted raids in towns and villages in the West Bank cities of Al-Bire, Hebron, and Jenin, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA. The soldiers used tear gas grenades and live bullets during these operations, leading to the detention of a child in the city of Bire.
In addition to these raids, Israeli settlers have also been accused of usurping Palestinian lands and damaging Palestinian vehicles in the city of Bethlehem. This ongoing aggression has escalated since Israel’s attack on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, resulting in increased detentions, raids, and attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
Tragically, the violence has resulted in the loss of 823 Palestinian lives, including 167 children, due to the attacks by Israeli soldiers and settlers who continue to illegally occupy Palestinian lands in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The situation remains dire as Palestinians continue to face threats to their safety and livelihoods in their own homeland.
