Israeli Army Pulls Out of Jenin City and Refugee Camp

Israeli army withdraws from Jenin city and camp following military attacks
Eyewitnesses have reported that the Israeli army has completely withdrawn from the city and camp of Jenin this morning, after launching military attacks on May 21st. Hundreds of Palestinians are now returning to their homes and properties in the Jenin Refugee Camp following the withdrawal of the Israeli army.
A statement released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health yesterday confirmed that the number of Palestinians who lost their lives in the Israeli army’s attacks on Jenin on May 21st has now reached 11. The situation remains tense in the region as both sides assess the aftermath of the recent conflict.
This development comes as a relief to many residents of Jenin who have been living in fear and uncertainty due to the ongoing violence. The withdrawal of the Israeli army provides a glimmer of hope for peace and stability to return to the region, although the scars of the recent conflict may take time to heal.
