Israel Army Takes Precautions Against Potential Threats from Iran
Recent reports from the Israel-based Walla website have indicated that the Israeli army has started to disable GPS signals in the Kirya region as a precautionary measure against potential threats from Iran.
According to the news, Israeli commanders have conducted a series of meetings to discuss how to prepare for any potential attacks from Iran. As a result, preparations in the air defense system, army, Ministry of Defense, Home Front Command, and control systems of sensitive facilities will be heightened.
The United States has also reportedly pledged to assist in strengthening Israel’s air defense system. The Israeli Ministry of Defense and the army are collaborating to modernize monitoring and warning systems using advanced technologies across various parts of the country.
In a statement released on October 12, the Israeli army announced that the USA has deployed the THAAD (Territorial High Altitude Air Defense) system in Israel. This system is designed to block long-range ballistic missiles and enhance defense capabilities in the region.
With tensions escalating between Israel and Iran, it is clear that the Israeli army is taking proactive measures to ensure the safety and security of the country against potential threats. The collaboration with the United States and advancements in defense technology are integral to bolstering Israel’s defense capabilities in the face of looming challenges.
